Fellowships for Graduate Studies at the Institute for Shock Physics

Graduate students from a range of disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Applied Mathematics) have the opportunity to study the response of materials at extreme conditions in the Institute for Shock Physics (ISP).

As members of various academic departments within the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, and Engineering, graduate students will conduct exciting research projects for their Ph.D. degrees. The Institute emphasizes partnerships involving students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty members from other academic institutions, and researchers from national laboratories to address scientific challenges in a comprehensive manner.

Competitive financial support for outstanding Ph.D. students in the ISP is also available. Please visit the ISP Graduate Studies website for more information www.shock.wsu.edu/education/.
