Tenure Track Faculty Position- Colorado School of Mines

The Department of Chemistry and Geochemistry at the Colorado School of Mines invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank (http://inside.mines.edu/HR-Academic-Faculty).  Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals with research and teaching expertise in experimental physical chemistry. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work independently and as a member of multi-investigator teams to leverage existing strengths in the biological, energy, and computational sciences.                         

The Department of Chemistry and Geochemistry offers ACS-approved B.S. chemistry degrees as well as M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, and has a prospering graduate program with >60 graduate students working in a broad range of specializations. The department also maintains numerous collaborations with nearby national laboratories including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (Golden), US Geological Survey (Golden) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (Boulder).
