2015 University of Michigan Macro Symposium Information & Deadlines

We are pleased to announce that the 39th Annual Macromolecular Science and Engineering Symposium will be held at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor on October 22nd, 2015. The theme for this year’s symposium is “Polymers and Their Biomedical Applications.” This is a one-day symposium with several invited speakers, a poster session, networking events, and a banquet. Here are the invited speakers:

Krzysztof Matyjaszewski from Carnegie Mellon University;

Arthur J. Coury from Northeastern University;

Tatiana K. Bronich from University of Nebraska;

Guilermo Ameer from Northwestern University;

Hai-Quan Mao  from Johns Hopkins University

Kristopher Kilian from The University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign

This is a call for poster presentations. The poster session is open to students and post-doctoral researchers and covers research in all areas of polymer science and engineering. There is no registration fee for any faculty or students with university affiliation. For those students whose research is closely aligned with the theme of the symposium “Polymers and Their Biomedical Applications”, we will elevate two of the poster submissions to invited talks.
