K-12 Science Teaching Jobs

Southern Teachers Agency is the oldest teacher agency in America.
We’ve helped candidates find jobs at great schools since 1902.
Please consider forwarding this message to your graduating students.

Hiring for Fall 2016 has started!  Each year, we help nearly 600 private and independent schools around the South find teachers.  For 2015-16, these schools listed over 3,000 jobs with Southern Teachers, and we’re expecting even more for next school year.  That means more opportunities than ever for great science teachers.

It’s just January, and we already have 76 science teaching jobs listed for 2016-17, including 27 for Chemistry.

Requirements:

Candidates do not have to be in a teacher-preparation program or major in education to be considered for faculty positions at outstanding independent schools. While a degree in science education is desirable, most secondary-school teachers are hired based on their major—their subject knowledge—and their gifts for working with young people. Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Application process:

Click here to apply.   Because we interview all of our candidates, it can take several weeks to become an active STA candidate.  Schools are listing science jobs now, so candidates should apply now!

STA provides a free service for candidates.

Thanks for helping us find the next generation of great teachers!
