Laboratory Lecturer Position in Physical and Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, University of Florida, Gainesville

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin in January or May 2017.  The appointment is for the oversight, teaching and team-teaching of our upper-level undergraduate laboratory courses in Physical, Biophysical and Analytical Chemistry.  Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field as well as demonstrable expertise in teaching at the University level. Post-doctoral experience is a plus.  Responsibilities related to this position may include laboratory curriculum development, operations in the teaching laboratories, management of teaching laboratory infrastructure, electronic course management, advisement of undergraduates, supervision of undergraduate research, publication of scholarly work, successful acquisition of grants.
